Company Background
PowerQuote Software emerged from Bruce Moore Printing Company which was founded back in 1985. We continued to operate the printing company and develop the software until 2002 when we turned the printing company over to new management and PowerQuote became a separate business.

Our first clients were local printers and educators who discovered our user friendly estimating software solution. Today we have customers in Australia, Africa and the UK including many installations throughout the United States and Canada.. PowerQuote has been covered by virtually every major U.S. printing publication and was selected by Apple as one of it's “Hot Picks”. We were first to market a year 2000 compliant estimating program and first with a “Built for Mac OS X” estimating software solution. More recently we introduced our industry leading estimating system for high speed on demand digital printing and the first printing estimating system to be Universal Binary on Mac and designed for use on Vista.

PowerQuote’s primary mission is to continue to provide our clients with the best print estimating software solution available. Our focus is on ease of use, profit making capabilities and ground breaking developments geared towards future industry trends.

Our founder and President Bruce Moore’s computer experience spans the personal computer revolution of the early 1980’s when he sold computer technology to organizations such as Unisys, NASA and various colleges and universities. Bruce has over 17 years experience in managing a printing business and as our lead programmer over 20 years in software development.
